Your Bavarian Pretzels are fully baked.
1. Freeze upon arrival for optimal shelf life.
2. Defrost Pretzels at room temperature for 30 mins.
3. Remove all packaging and place Pretzels on a baking sheet.
4. Preheat conventional oven to 400˚F 1 and bake for 8-10 mins. on center oven rack.
5. Let Pretzels cool down for 10 minutes and enjoy.
You may also defrost pretzels for 60 minutes at room temperature or in your refrigerator overnight and enjoy without baking.

The Brot Box ships from Indiana (IN) and Northern California (CA).
2. When do orders ship and how long does shipping take?
Orders ship Monday to Wednesday. Orders with 2- or 3-day-shipping, that are placed on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday will move into the next week’s shipping window. The transit time for delivery is 1-3 days depending on customers location.
3. Which carrier is used for shipping?
We use the ground service of FedEx, OnTrac and local carriers.
4. How do orders ship?
During hot summer season orders are shipped insulated (NOT FROZEN) with ice packs and insulated liner. We provide this service to extend the freshness and be prepared for any carrier delays.
5. How to handle products upon arrival?
Products should be checked and placed in the freezer upon arrival to keep the shelf life up to 6 months, since The Brot Box products don’t contain any preservatives.

Love the authentic southern German pretzels! They’re hard to find in the USA. They take me back to my childhood in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg. My grandmother always had warm pretzels, butter and coffee waiting for me when I visited. (NEVER to be eaten with mustard. They’re nothing like American soft pretzels.)😊

Gifted the different types of bread to family members and friends, all of whom called me to tell me how much they enjoyed it. Phenomenal reviews all around. I took a chance after reviewing all the positive reviews by people who missed brochen like we did. I went overboard because of the freebies and free shipping! She loves the crunch, soft inside and smell briefly cooking the Brocken, pretzels and loaf bread. I was skeptical but am now a fan! 12 out of 10!!!!

I ordered three bags of 4 pretzels - good thing I ordered more than I needed because one bag was full of broken pretzels. The others were very good, but the minimum order is too much for my usual needs. I ended up throwing away about half of the order.

I was craving real german Bretzels but couldn’t get myself to order from Brotbox for months (pricetag seems high). I am so happy I finally placed an order, they were really good for a take‘n‘bake product. Family loved them - will buy again.
I love the Brotchen I have not tried the pretzel yet. My only concern is was when I got my package. There was a single Brotchen just laying in the box not in a bag. To find out after further unpacking. I had two broken bags. The dry ice was gone which is normal. I am just assuming that the dry ice made the package brittle and split open the packaging.
