Your Bread Rolls are 85% par-baked.
1. Freeze upon arrival for optimal shelf life.
2. Defrost rolls at room temperature for 30 mins. or in your refrigerator overnight.
3. Remove all packaging and place rolls on a baking sheet.
4. Preheat conventional oven to 400˚F 1 and bake for 10-12 mins.2 on center oven rack.
5. Let rolls cool down for 5 minutes and enjoy.

1. Where does The Brot Box ship from?
The Brot Box ships from Indiana (IN) and Northern California (CA).
2. When do orders ship and how long does shipping take?
Orders ship Monday to Wednesday. Orders with 2- or 3-day-shipping, that are placed on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday will move into the next week’s shipping window. The transit time for delivery is 1-3 days depending on customers location.
3. Which carrier is used for shipping?
We use the ground service of FedEx, OnTrac and local carriers.
4. How do orders ship?
During hot summer season orders are shipped insulated (NOT FROZEN) with ice packs and insulated liner. We provide this service to extend the freshness and be prepared for any carrier delays.
5. How to handle products upon arrival?
Products should be checked and placed in the freezer upon arrival to keep the shelf life up to 6 months, since The Brot Box products don’t contain any preservatives.

As someone who has a gluten sensitivity I haven’t had real bread in years! I tried this roll as my first Brot Box choice and had zero tummy issues! The bread was thick and tasted incredible! So easy to warm up and it was great to take to a family function so I could enjoy some bread too!

These brotchen are delicious. Love them in the mornings with butter and jelly or for lunch with some ham or turkey. They take me back to a Germany bakery. ❤️
So far I only baked the rolls. They are authentic german, taste, look, and feel the same as the ones in Germany I grew up with. I will bake the breads next and definitely reorder regularly.
A trip down memory lane of all the Saturdays we would walk down to the local bakery to buy fresh brotchen for breakfast. I even sent to my boys so they could experience this memory again.

July, 2025 my husband and I visited family in Germany. We ate the most amazing breads while sightseeing the beautiful German country. Since returning I have missed eating the bread. My husband showed me the website for Brot Box and I had to give it a try. My order was shipped to Alabama and was still frozen. Being born in Berlin I can attest to the original taste the Broetchen (Schrippen) in the Berliner dialect. My family was very happy to have this treat since they only get few trips to Germany, but when they do, they live on Broetchen
I spent 2 1/2 years in Germany in the 80's while in the US Air Force. Fell in love with the breads, especially brötchen. I'm a pretty good baker and have made my own brötchen a couple of times but they never seem to come out like I remember them. Someone on a FB group recommended The Brot Box and I ordered. I made my first bake today of brötchen to go with some brats and oh my!!! So good! Crispy outside, tender inside and excellent flavor. Just like I remember from Germany. Can't wait to try some of the other breads I bought.

The only complaint I have is that I eat too many of these brotchens. I used to wake up to the smell of the bakery right behind my house when I lived in Mainz and I hadn't had any in over 20 years until I came across The Brot Box.
