The Brot Box ships from Indiana (IN) and Northern California (CA).
2. When do orders ship and how long does shipping take?
Orders ship Monday to Wednesday. Orders with 2- or 3-day-shipping, that are placed on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday will move into the next week’s shipping window. The transit time for delivery is 1-3 days depending on customers location.
3. Which carrier is used for shipping?
We use the ground service of FedEx, OnTrac and local carriers.
4. How do orders ship?
During hot summer season orders are shipped insulated (NOT FROZEN) with ice packs and insulated liner. We provide this service to extend the freshness and be prepared for any carrier delays.
5. How to handle products upon arrival?
Products should be checked and placed in the freezer upon arrival to keep the shelf life up to 6 months, since The Brot Box products don’t contain any preservatives.

Sooooo yummy! :D Thaw and cut in half and in to the toaster it goes, adding more butter after pop up! Delish!
These are the best croissants. There are so flaky and buttery. I like the shape because you can cut them in half and use them for a sandwich. They hold up really well when you pile them up with turkey or ham and cheese or my favorite chicken salad. Or, and this is the way I especially like them, you can “unroll” them and eat them a small section at a time just by itself or with a bit of jam with my morning coffee.
Ok to be fair these are not really croissants but German schnecken which is not the same. However they are delicious, easy to bake, and perfect to split and fill with whatever you desire.

Well, I would have taken a picture of my amazing bacon, egg and cheese croissant sandwich BUT I ate it before I had the thought. We had one leftover croissant from the night before and instead of letting the kids fight over it... I cut it, fried it in bacon grease and made my sandwich out of it. No regrets!

I invited my son and daughter in law for breakfast and prepared the croissants with Black Forest ham and Swiss cheese. They were delicious and everyone enjoyed them. I’m glad I have tried these German breads.
