Very good, not quite like being there, but so close! Follow the directions as indicated. I tried to 'brown' up the loaves and cooked a little longer at lower temperature. My mistake. Will order again for sure!

But what I got a taste of are the rolls and the sunflower seed bread and I can't stop eating these wonderful products. These se are the BEST German breads I have eaten in the US. When I tasted the bakery rolls, the taste took me home to Berlin and the fresh BAKERY ROLLS still warm from the oven. If you are looking for authentic German breads and rolls, look no further! Haven’t had a chance to bake but two portions of bread since receiving my order. It is wonderful! After returning from Europe I needed more good bread then I found Brot Box. Items arrived in a cardboard box with a thin insulation lining. What ever was used to try and keep them cold was completely gone and the items were warm not even cold. I put them right in the freezer and now hope they will be safe to eat later. Won't order from here again !!

The rye is truly legit German/Austrian rye. We loved it. All the breads were fantastic. Not inexpensive, but well worth the quality. Rolls can easily be divided and half frozen.
