The Brot Box delivers Bread Loaves, Rolls and Pretzels to your door, all built on high quality ingredients and ready to enjoy in minutes.

We are aware of the importance of healthy and good food and believe that bread as the simplest and oldest food in human history only needs a few natural ingredients to nurture and nourish ourselves throughout the day.

Our products are all built on high quality ingredients. Common flour in the USA is processed and therefore also known as bleached or enriched flour. Whereas common flour in Europe is not processed, due the stricter regulations on food and ingredients. Furthermore the use of unprocessed and natural flour is healthier, since it contains all essential nutrients of a whole grain.

Bread for us, is more than just a simple side dish - it’s culture, it’s our passion. The Germans value their baked goods as cultural assets and bread is officially recognized as a cultural heritage since December 2014. 

Today's dual training as a baker in a bakery, a school and further education lasts 3 years and ends with an examination. If you want to open your own bakery, you must attend a master school and take the state examination as a master baker. This is the only way to ensure that traditional craftmanship, quality and the authentic taste are preserved.

Yes! All our products are vegan. Although some of our Bread Loaves, Pretzel Products and Rolls are baked in a bakery that also uses milk and eggs. If you eat a strict diet, we recommend checking the ingredients listed on our website to ensure they line up with your needs.

We want you to experience the authentic European taste and smell of oven fresh baked goods. Therefore we go the extra mile to make it as convenient as possible for you without any loss of quality. That’s what makes us stand out from the crowd.

Fully baked products are ready to eat after the required thawing time. These products suit perfectly for occasions, where you do not have access to an oven.In you have access to an oven, we recommend baking all fully baked Bread Loaves and Pretzel Products for best results. 

85% pre-baked products are partially baked. The last 15% make the difference. Bake products from 8 to 15 minutes and enjoy warm and fresh like directly from a baker's oven.

The Brot Box is an e-commerce online shop. You can order conveniently from your preferred device through our easy checkout process at any time.

We are packing boxes Monday to Wednesday. Order till noon the day before and your Brot Box is on his way right to your doorstep. 

Delivery usually takes 1-3 business days and once your parcel is shipped, we provide you with the tracking information via email. Of course, things don’t always go as planned. Therefore it can happen, that the shipping takes more time.

Our breads contain sourdough and/or rye flour that keep the products fresh during transit.

In addition we have specially designed boxes and use insulating material and ice packs to keep the items cool for a certain time, just to be on the “safer” side and be prepared for any carrier delays.

If you aren’t home when your box arrives, it’s no problem - your box can wait for you on your doorstep for a while.

Once you‘re at home, pop the breads into the freezer for optimal freshness and shelf life and store it away till you’re ready to eat. 

And don’t worry about the freshness, our breads contain sourdough and/or rye flour that keep the products fresh during transit.

In addition we have specially designed boxes and use insulating material and ice packs to keep the items cool for a certain time, just to be on the “safer” side and be prepared for any carrier delays.

Once you‘re at home, pop the breads into the freezer for optimal freshness and shelf life and store it away till you’re ready to eat.

Please make sure that after receiving your Brot Box delivery to either directly put it in the freezer or bake your delicious friend in your oven. Therefore, follow the instructions on the label, the baking process takes around 8-20 min. Make sure to let your hottie cool down for a few minutes before serving.

No special equipment needed!

To prepare our bake & serve products like Bread Loaves, Bread Rolls and Pretzels you will need a conventional oven and a baking sheet. Nothing special, right ;-)?

Following the baking instructions on the label will result with a perfect, freshly bread. The baking process takes around 8-20 min. Let it cool down up to 15 minutes before serving.

Yes, we recommend that.

Because of their size, especially Bread Loaves require a longer thawing time before putting them into the oven.

If you want to save time in the morning, you can thaw the products in your refrigerator overnight and bake them immediately next morning.

For best results, we recommend always following the preparation/baking instructions on the product label or on our website.

Generally your baked goods should come out perfectly fine, if you adhere to the baking instructions, guaranteeing optimal baking results. Of course ovens vary and adjustments on temperature settings might be necessary.
In the rare case that things go wrong and you aren’t fully satisfied, please contact us via email customers@thebrotbox.com and we will gladly assist you!

Since we do not use additives that extend the shelf life and freshness in an artificial way, we recommend consuming your baked goods within the next few days after preparation.Breads stay fresh for a few days and slices or rolls can be toasted if you like.
