I ordered some Brot Box bread for myself and younger son to try over the holidays. He had just returned from Germany and approved of the quality. I also sent my older son the gift card so he could try as we were all in Germany together a few months ago. The quality is great. My son's favorite in Germany is the Kürbiskern-Brötchen so we will try those next.

It is very hard to explain how a bread can be so dense, the crust so crusty and crisp and so light at the same time. But, the Swiss loaf was. To lather this bread with butter and then bite into it was heaven on earth. Never did I think I could eat such bread and be in the USA.. THANK YOU for such a special treat.

Very easy to order a gift card, however I wish I could direct it to the recipient (send to their email) rather than sending it to me and then I have to forward the email to the gift recipient. Also to be able to provide a note would be great as well. The current process is clunky for sending gifts to others. The bread is delicious!

I wanted to send a $150 gift certificate but I couldn't specify that amount and had to send three $50 certificates. I would suggest allowing for customization or eliminating the $70 or $90 options (which seem random) and replacing them with $100 and $200.
