I prefer baking for 14 minutes so that it is crispier. Even when I can in Germany, I cut the roll in half, scoop out the soft center and fill each half with eggs, or cheese or some other filling. It is so delicious this way.
In Wiemar at the train station cafe, they served the rolls with a little cheese on top. This was SO GOOD. I have a grated sharp cheese that I sometimes sprinkle on the top. Remember, like in Germany, these breads do not have preservatives so only bake want you want to eat that day. Although, cutting half makes them last longer.

Excellent, deep flavor with great crunch. My ONLY feedback is your baking instructions are WAY off -- every type of bread ends up really hard and almost inedible when it's overcooked. 410 degrees is too hot and 12-15 minutes is way too long.
